In this blog post, I’ll show you How To Install Exchange Server 2016 Management Tools on Windows 10.

Since Exchange Server 2013 release Exchange Server doesn’t come with an Installed Management Console also known as EMS and from 2013 release the console has gone and was replaced with a Web Console called EAC (Exchange Administration Center).

How to Install Exchange Server 2016

The reason I’ll Install the Management Tools Is for the Exchange PowerShell Console also knows as Exchange Management Shell (EMS) which Is need to perform many Exchange task that is not Available on the EAC.

In order for the tools to work on Windows 10, We need to Install a few IIS tools using Powershell.

To Get started, Open PowerShell on Windows 10 and run the cmdlet below and restart the machine when done.

Enable-WindowsOptionalFeature -Online -FeatureName "IIS-ManagementConsole", "IIS-LegacySnapIn", "IIS-IIS6ManagementCompatibility","IIS-Metabase" -All

Once, the machine has restarted, Load the ISO Image and run Setup.EXE

Select, Management Tools

Select location

Click done when done

Start the EMS from the Start menu

Done
